Dear Rhode Island Residents,
We are thrilled to announce the creation of Rentarevolution RI, a website committed to providing newsletters about legislative efforts in the Rhode Island General Assembly, articles about housing in Rhode Island, and keeping track of pending and existing legislation. Our website is dedicated to addressing housing issues in Rhode Island and providing much-needed protections for tenants and the homeless. We believe that by keeping residents informed about legislative efforts and providing resources about housing in Rhode Island, we can help to create a more equitable and just society for all. Our website will cover legislative efforts such as Senator Tiara Mack's package of legislation to address and strengthen tenants' rights, the sealing of eviction records, and the approval of a package of 10 bills to address the state's housing crisis. We will also cover the legislative victories from the last session, such as the passage of thirteen bills from Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi's package of legislation to help address Rhode Island's housing crisis. We hope that our website will serve as a valuable resource for Rhode Island residents and help to create positive change in our state.
